Sunday arrived… The Official day of the activity of the Team Kamikazes Paramotor Puerto Rico. Villa Pesquera in Isabela was the meeting place. And with excellent weather conditions and Full House of friends and pilots, there is a lot to tell !!!💪
First let’s take a look at the “Kamikazes” family and friends who said present:
Luis Ruiz, his wife Jessica and children Ian Darrell and Noah Enrique
Pablo Cruz and his wife Millie
Robert Rodríguez and his wife Elba
Noel Vale and his wife Tata
Ricardo González and his wife Ermelinda
Evan Purdy and his girlfriend Lourdes
Omar Román
Gregory Santiago
Juan Carlos Correa
Randy Tirado
Eduardo Pabon
David “Perla” Carreras
William Nadal (Beginning course)
Epi Cacerez, his wife Yani and sons Alejandro and Daniel
Danny Ruiz and his son Dariel
The morning began with Luis mounting everything early and starting the course to the young William Nadal, a native of Manatí City. Also present in the practice were Epi Cacerez and family. Epi is a personal friend of Luis. He was giving a visit to know more about the sport and to see the possibility of making some flights.

Also, arrived by surprise the veteran Kamikaze pilot “Perla” Carreras. He is natural of Aguada City and is one of the first students of Luis Ruiz. He was notified in previous week of our activities of the day. And he finally arrived to practice and gather with the Team …. It was very nice to see him there.

After some time in the inflation practices, William began to progress in control the paraglider. In other hand, Luis was preparing to take Alejandro and Daniel as passengers in flight. While this was happening Pablo assisted Luis, with the preparation of the fly of “Perla”. He practiced with the paraglider for an hour, and with excellent weather he was ready to try his first fly. He had more than 5 years without flying. Eventually he made it looks easy. His takeoff and eventual landing were excellent. Pablo was pending all the way of the fly. Congratulations💪💪.
Beside that, every pilot in the area, JC, Grego, Pablo, Eduardo, Ian, Evan, Robert, Perla, Luis, Randy and Omar flew to exhaustion many times. Some of them took out their cameras to make broadcast live. The flight route was mostly in the direction of Jobos Beach who was full of people everywhere.
It was admirable that Jessica on her own initiative brought her personal BBQ and was preparing hamburgers and hot dogs for all people present. Millie took great care that each Hamburger went to the taste of each pilot. A detail like few women do.
We finished our activities by Sunset. Everyone in the activity was happy and exhausted from so much flight. Here we leave some photos and videos of the activity. As always, we thank God for these opportunities that allow us to live🙏.
