This time, after a debate on the final course to follow, Team Kamikazes went to the Parque del Norte in Hatillo.

As expected, the weather was very good in the morning, but that would change from noon onward. It turns out that the wind was rising in intensity, from 8 mph in the morning until around 2:30 PM, it was already around 20 mph with some gusts measured at 28 mph😱!

We had Full House, and here we pass the list of the Kamikazes family who said present at the activity:

Luis Ruiz, his wife Jessica and son Noah Enrique
Pablo Cruz and his wife Millie
Ricardo González and his wife Ermelinda
Alex Diaz and his wife Belén
Chey Sánchez and his wife Arlene
Carmelo Martínez, his wife Miriam and daughter Camille
Carlos Cándido Rodríguez and his son CC Jr.
Michael Diaz and his father Papo
Esteban Torres
David Silva
Omar Román
Robert Rodriguez
Gregory Santiago
Juan Carlos Correa
Rubén Franco

As we indicated, not much could be done in the afternoon. During the morning, Luis, Omar, Gregory, Pablo, Robert and David were flying. While this was happening, the new student of Team Rubén, practiced hard the inflation of the paraglider. Rubén officially began its course on Thursday afternoon, and today he was eager to learn and be on the air in the shortest possible time. He has good ability and surely will fly very soon. We will tell you about his progress 🙂…

Among the pilots, David and Omar left early for a “cross” flight. It’s nice to see David recovered from health and enjoying his flights to the fullest. It was also very nice to see Carmelo and Miriam arrive, had been a while since their last visit.

In the afternoon, and with winds above 20 mph, JC and CC launched from Levittown, this is their second consecutive weekend that they both make “cross” flights departing from Levittown. On both occasions, they fly on strong winds, but still with much enjoyment as they travel the distance. As they fly, they were intercepted in the area of the Arecibo Lighthouse by Omar and Gregory and from there they all flew together back to Parque del Norte.

Others who managed to fly in the afternoon in those winds were Chey and CC Jr., both landed fast, since it was not good to fly. Esteban wisely decided not to try. It was also nice to see Michael and his father arrive and share with us in the activity. We spend the afternoon between meals and drinks.

There will be better climates. For now we had a great time. Thank God🙂.
