Excellent weather for flying all day. A visit to the traditional and beautiful Isabela, and the activity was simply epic💪. There is too much to tell. But first, we must indicate the pilots and friends of Team Kamikazes presents:

Luis Ruiz, his wife Jessica and children Ian Darrell and Noah Enrique
Pablo Cruz and his wife Millie
Noel Vale and his wife Tata
Jerry Valentin
Gregory Santiago
Omar Román
Robert Rodriguez
William Nadal
Alex Diaz
Randy Tirado
Sao Cruz

In the morning we just started the activity at about 9 AM. Luis Ruiz met with Jerry Valentin, an excellent photograph and great friend for many years who is back to Puerto Rico. While Luis were flying, Jerry created a great video with his unique style…

Later, the pilots began to arrive and started to gets ready with their equipment. It was nice to see Alex, accompanying Pablo, Gregory and Omar on the flights along the coast. And not only that, but later we planned a “cross” flight in direction of Hatillo/Arecibo. Then, Gregory, Omar, Luis and Alex, made it. Leaving Villa Pesquera in Isabela and flew all the way to the entrance of the PR22 express in Hatillo, about 18 miles away. This “cross” was made flying upwind. With these executions, Alex very well earns his second star in the ratings. Congratulations!!!💪

On that “cross” flight Luis, had a problem with his paramotor when he was already flying through Camuy about 10.35 miles from Isabela. He had to land at Villa Pesquera in Camuy. Because of the nature of the problem he could not repair it there. Already a hour later he was rescued by Randy and William who arrived in Randy’s truck.

Another notable event of the day was the first “solo” flight of the student/pilot William Nadal. He arrived at the activity at his weekly practice with the paraglider. Luis was watching William’s skills and asked him if he felt ready to try his first flight. William answered in the affirmative and Luis proceeded to give the instructions of rigor and prepare the equipment. With the assistance of Luis, William launched in excellent form! Later he was assisted by Pablo in the landing.  He managed to success in launch and landing procedure. He used an SkyMax Moster Paramotor and a Apco Thrust paraglider. After his emotion gets down a little bit, he indicated it was a dream fulfilled. We hope this to be the first of many more! Congratulations!!!💪💪

In the afternoon, and after the rescue of Luis in Camuy, Ian Darrell and Sao Cruz joined the Team in the flights along the Coast. The pilots Gregory, Luis and Omar accompanied them. The weather was excellent all day. Just pure enjoyment all day long.

The last to land was Ian Darrell. With his landing we ended the flight activity. Tomorrow there are plans to go to Ponce, so it’s time to rest … Thank God!❤️
