Thanks to the fact that the situation with the virus in Puerto Rico has become more flexible. Today we were finally able to meet with a little more tranquility at “Las Criollas” Beach in Barceloneta. This place is central on the island for all pilots who want to share in our activities. In addition, the flight conditions were very good, so we had an excellent day of flights and healthy sharing.
The pilots and students present, who came from all over the island were:
Ariel Rodríguez and his wife Wanda
José Santini and his wife Zoe
Tim Slauson
Eric Harthman
Chelo Meléndez
Luis Ruiz
Gregory Santiago
Juan Carlos Correa
Nelson Ramos
David Silva
Chey Sánchez
In the morning, students Eric and Ariel began their practices with the paragliding. Both showing great progress, and we will surely have them in the air soon. Chelo, for his part, also dedicated himself to practicing because of the time that has been in quarantine. Better days for flights will come… Also, Nelson, who is an experienced pilot, but has not flown for more than two years, was also pleasant, so he devoted himself to practicing with the paragliding, as it should be.
As for the most experienced pilots, Chey, Gregory, JC, David and Luis … They all flew “Cross” towards the Mar Chiquita Beach in Manatí, even Luis on his return flew to the Colon Statue in Arecibo. The weather was excellent, NE winds of 12-18 mph were the norm all day.

Video recorded and edited by Moises Millet, a new friend, that was checking the activity and made that, enjoy!!!
It was very nice to meet again after spending so much time responsibly complying with the quarantine due to the Corona Virus. Hopefully this is the start of more healthy meetings of Team Kamikazes. Here we share some photos and videos of the activity. Hope you like it…
