Present from early were …

Ricardo González and his wife Ermelinda
Charles Riggs and his son Evan
Ariel Rodríguez and her grandson Derick Castro
Alberto Sabah and his wife Mercedes
Omar Colon and his family
Danis Rodriguez
Johny de León and his family (Possible new student)
Cris Goergen (Possible new student)
There was a lot of action and the Team Instructor, Luis Ruiz, had a busy day. First of all, since several friends who wanted to Live the Experience of paramotor flight showed up. It turned out that out of a couple of scheduled flights, Luis ended up flying five people. Thank God, all were very happy with their experiences. With these flights, the total number of people who have flown with Luis in introduction flights in his career is 1,851 !!! For his part, Ian Darrell, apart from being flying for himself, also made a introduction flight, this time he flew again as part of his Tandem training, his cousin Brian. With this Ian already has six (6) flown people on his training record. Alberto, Ariel and Omar were assisting Luis in the preparations and verifying that everything was as scheduled.

Aside from introduction flights, today was the day that Evan’s first “solo” Paramotor flight was to be attempted. At just 14 years old, he was ready to try to his “solo” fly. His father and also student Charles was there, giving support with Luis. The Paramotor that would be used is one of the lightest on the market, at just 36 pounds the SkyMax EOS100 was ready to do the job. Along with this an Apco Thrust paraglider size Small was available. After the rigorous practices, climate evaluation and discussion of processes with Evan, we gave the green light to try… There after a couple of attempts, Evan went flying for the first time before the pride of his father who was attentive to the entire process. His eventual landing was an excellent one, and the words to his father were that it was exactly what he dreamed of and that he could be flying all day. 🙂 Congratulations!!!!! We hope it is the first of many more. Here the video of his launching and experience…
Evan first “solo” Fly Experience!
Meanwhile, another who waited patiently for his turn to fly was Derick, also 14 years old. This would be his second flight. Likewise, and with the support of his grandfather Ariel, and complying with all security measures, Derick went flying for the second time in his young career. On this particular flight, Derick, at some point, had problems with the paramotor that went off flying! He notified Luis by Radio, who assisted him for his landing that it was an excellent one. Derick says he was scared for a moment, but his landing performance was very good, landing on his feet. 💪 Congratulations !!!, and here the video of your landing with the engine off.

In Ricardo’s case, he had been resuming his training since yesterday on the way to accompany us again in the air. There he was practicing with his paraglider and he even tried to fly with his paramotor, but some technical details still have to be corrected, which Luis evaluated and discuss with him in order to correct them.
As we mentioned before, Omar, Alberto, Ariel and Danis were assisting Luis in all the details of what was happening in the area. Thank you very much! And in the case of Danis, he continues to fly a lot and continues to improve by leaps and bounds all the take-off and landing details, which already include now the “Touch & Go” process. And what it is about, enjoying the pleasure of flying !!!
At about 4 PM an active cloud approached us, which closed the activity of the weekend. On balance, we have two 14-year-old boys already flying. New blood in the sport!!! Congratulations to both of you again !!! Evan’s dad, Charles, is coming up next. Stay Tuned …💪
And as always we thank God for these opportunities that allows us to live! 🙏
