Strong winds for the entire island caused us to change our plans for flight activities. The original plans were to meet in the Parque del Norte in Hatillo, where we would celebrate a birthday party for Ian (his number 19) and at the same time to say goodbye to David Garber and Amara who at the end of the month need to return to the USA to fulfill professional commitments.
But the winds of over 25 mph +, made us change the plans since the flight possibilities were nil. We ended up at the house of Instructor Luis Ruiz.
We had a very pleasant and emotional afternoon. Present at the activity were Dave Hargett, brothers Samuel and Adam Travis, David Garber and his wife Amara, Luis Ruiz, his wife Jessica and children Ian Darrell and Noah Enrique, Alex Disla and his father Juan, Noel Vale and his wife Tata , Hermes Ferrer, his wife Neisha and their children Yaniher and Katelyn, Sammy Badillo, Pablo Cruz and his wife Millie, Alberto Sabah and his wife Mercedes, Youstin Giel and his wife Blanisha, Ivan Torres and his wife Pamela.
A BBQ was prepared, the details of which were mostly coordinated by the girls from Team Kamikazes, Jessica, Millie, Neisha and Pablo was in charge of the grill. Jessica made a cake whose image commemorated both Ian’s birthday and some printed photos of David and Amara’s adventures in Puerto Rico 💪.
We are already looking forward to their return scheduled for next winter, 💪 …
David Garber said … “It’s sad to say goodby to such a close group of friends. Amara and I are simply blown away by the acceptance, love and support that we’ve felt from all of you here in Puerto Rico. Words are not enough to describe our gratitude. We are looking forward to seeing all of you again this winter. The send off party was epic!!”
