Another day in Paradiseโฆ, Villa Pesquera, Isabela. But this time, with the winds lowering their intensity ๐ช. And it was time, after a couple of weeks where they regularly reached 20 mph + intensity.
We had some Demo flights pending in the morning to show the beauties of our sport and passion. Among them were Alexander and Paola from Juan Diaz, Gene’s family, Shaky, Chris and Roy from Rincรณn, and from Mayaguez came the friend Wilfredo Maysonabe, his wife Esther and Gloria and her daughter from Florida. This together with the โKamikazesโ pilots present, Danis Rodrรญguez and his family, Luis Ruiz, his son Ian Darrell, Noel Vale and the student Edgardo Rivera.
Everyone had a great experience on their flights. Gloria, a lady of 72 years old! looked very emotional on her flight, and Chris, for his part, repeated the adventure after having also flown yesterday. Here we leave a short video that best explains the experiences of each of them.
So, after the Demo flights were over, we dedicated to giving the rigorous instructions for Edgardo’s first โsoloโ flight. He has kept practicing these days, and we see him ready for him to try ๐คโฆ and the weather was cooperating. The conditions remained quite good for his attempt.
We decided to use the ultra light SkyMax EOS100 Paramotor (36 pounds weight and 20 HP of power) together with the noble Apco Thrust paraglider, which so many people in the Team have used for their first flight โฆ
With the instructions given, and with follow-up by radio communication, Edgardo took off for his first “solo” fly, along the coast of Isabela ๐ช. The flight lasted about 45 minutes, and when the moment of landing came, it also did it with excellence !!!!. Congratulations!, and may there be many more together with Team Kamikazes. Here we also leave a short video prepared with Ian, who even accompanied him in the air at some point.
At about 2:30 PM we decided to finish the activity. A cloud was approaching and tomorrow we will arrive at Parque del Norte Hatillo to continue flyingโฆ Blessings ๐!!!
