God’s time is perfect and everything has its natural order in life. This applies to our friend and student of the Team Kamikazes Paramotor Puerto Rico, Patrick Wendt. It turns out that as part of his training in Puerto Rico, we had tried his first “Solo” flight last Monday, December 31, 2018. This was in Lajas, but nothing went well. He could fly, but in the end we gave up the idea and we continue with the paragliding practices.
Today, after a day of rest, and with a relaxed mind, we returned to the land of Freddy Rental in Boquerón. Again we had to get up very early to take advantage of the first rays of the sun to be able to make the flight. There were the Instructor Luis Ruiz and Patrick. The equipment were ready from the night before. Today, there were no instructions to give, everything was in Patrick’s mind.
So, after preparing the equipment, Patrick began his flight attempt. Initially he failed a couple of attempts since he did not want to use the paramotor power in the launch. At the third attempt, finally, Patrick launch successfully. His first fly of the year, and yes, he first fly ever !!!💪💪💪
And not only that, the weather was very good to fly. So, Luis launched and went with Patrick to fly throughout all the Valley and even arrived to Lajas about 10 miles away.

Patrick was enjoying his flight a lot, even on a couple of occasions he accompanied Luis to fly low down the Valley. Upon returning, Patrick’s landing was perfect and his joy was worth a million. Soon it’s time he will need to return to Michigan, but now with many experiences and promising to return soon. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
Let it be the beginning of a long career in sports. That’s what it is, we always thank God for these opportunities.
