PARAWAITING… Today we had to use that word 🙄… Last official activity of Team Kamikazes in 2019, and given the strong winds that entered the island, we decided to do it in Rancho Grande Anasco. Normally Anasco has always resolved us with the winds coming from West that normally enter at about 10 AM and remain at least until 4 PM. This time it seems that the heavy winds system was too strong and did not give opportunity for this to materialize.
The wind never changed direction and we never had good conditions to fly. But, that doesn’t mean we didn’t have a great time. We even had Full House as we didn’t have it for a while. It is worthy to list all the pilots and family of Team Kamikazes present at the place …

The only one who flew in the hard conditions was Berto. He was assisted by Chey. He launched and quickly took height to a point were the turbulence was not so dangerous. He flew all the way to Mayaguez Bay where tried to locate his lost “Quicksilver” ultra light 😕… In the afternoon, Eric wanted to fly, but the conditions were simply not good and he gave up the idea.
The show in the area were stolen by the kids Noah Enrique, Michael Acevedo and Keyra Lis Santiago. They were practicing with the paragliding BGD Seed assisted by Luis. Here we show some videos and photos of their practices.

We also have to mention that as part of the activity, Rey, a possible student of the Team (and ultralight pilot of Cabo Rojo), took us a delicious cheese flan, prepared by him, you will know that it lasted for a very short time. Thanks Rey!!! Delicious 😜…
For his part, José “TNT”, not only came ready to fly, but this time he took his co-worker Lupe Rojas from the YouTube Channel “TNT in Puerto Rico”. The idea was to prepare a complete video of the activities of Team Kamikazes. Interviews were conducted by Lupe to Pablo Cruz, Bkr Zou and Ted Sowinski among others. This work could not be completed since we could not be flown as usual. We will surely finish it at the beginning of 2020. A preliminary video that they prepared is shown here…
In other notable events, it was nice to see Ricardo and Ermelinda again, as well as Javier and his wife, they had not been able to attend the activities of the Team for a few months and they were saying present. Even Ricardo took his paramotor, ready to fly with the group 💪.
In the next few days we will continue with the intensive training of Zou, and take advantage of the visit of Eric, Deron and Ted to continue flying throughout the island. Thank you to everyone who said present and many blessings and great flights for 2020 🙏!!!
